OBJECTIVE
The Graduate Program in Materials Science and Engineering (PGMAT) at the Universidade Federal de Santa Catarina (UFSC) aims at preparing qualified human resources and encouraging research, technical and scientific development studies related to the Materials Science and Engineering field, at the Master’s and Doctoral degree levels.
MISSION STATEMENT
PGMAT has as mission to prepare high-level and versatile professionals with a strong interdisciplinary profile, qualifying them to teach, conduct research and engage in technological and innovative development in the Materials Science and Engineering field, following the main global trends.
